John Hartt
John (JT) graduated from Umass Amherst in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. His time at Umass Amherst provided him with a solid foundation in engineering principles and nurtured his innate problem-solving skills. During his studies, he discovered his passion for Industrial Engineering and automation, which sparked his determination to pursue a career in this field.
In 2022, JT eagerly joined NeoMatrix as an automation engineer, where he quickly became an integral part of the team. His responsibilities revolved around designing and implementing automated systems to meet the unique needs of his customers. Collaborating closely with a team of talented engineers, he optimized manufacturing processes and significantly improved efficiency for various projects. Throughout his tenure at NeoMatrix, JT had the opportunity to work with Omron and Allen-Bradley PLCs, expanding his knowledge of automation systems and enhancing his adaptability in working with different technologies.
In 2023, he embraced a new role as a sales engineer within NeoMatrix. This transition allowed him to leverage his technical expertise while engaging directly with clients to understand their requirements and provide effective plant automation solutions. JT thoroughly enjoys the combination of his technical knowledge and interpersonal skills that are essential in this role. He takes great pride in establishing strong relationships with our industrial automation clients, ensuring their needs are met, and actively contributing to the company's overall success.
Outside of his professional pursuits, JT finds solace and rejuvenation in spending time outdoors. Whether he's teeing off on the golf course or gliding down snowy slopes, being in nature allows him to disconnect from work momentarily, providing a well-rounded balance to his life and reminding him of the importance of pursuing personal interests.
