Mid-Level Automation Engineer
Job Description
NeoMatrix is looking for a Mid-Level Automation Engineer with 2-8 years’ experience with SCADA, MES, and Batch Software skills to join our team. Strong experience with Rockwell’s Studio 5000, Inductive Automation’s Ignition, Rockwell’s FactoryTalk View SE, GE’s Proficy iFix, and/or Aveva’s System Platform software are required. The job will require skills in all facets of industrial automation and information services from conceptual design through commissioning and validation. Required Experience/Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience/knowledge
- 2-8 years’ experience with Rockwell’s Logix 5000/Studio 5000 and a major SCADA platform (Ignition, FactoryTalk View SE, Proficy iFIX, Aveva System Platform)
- Microsoft SQL Server Database experience (queries, stored procedures, design)
- Live in or around the Boston metro area and be a citizen of the US
- Have own transportation or ability to travel to customer sites
Additional Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience with Rockwell’s FactoryTalk Batch, GE’s Proficy Batch Execution, Aveva’s Aveva Batch Management, and/or Sepasoft’s Batch Procedure software is a plus
- Experience with MES software that may include OEE Downtime, SPC, Traceability, Enterprise systems Integration is a plus
- Experience with Commissioning/Validation in a GMP environment is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communications, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
