Alex Donnell
Alex has over 12 years of experience in the industrial automation industry with NeoMatrix. As one of our first employees, Alex has helped to grow NeoMatrix into the thriving organization that it is today.
As an engineer Alex implements solutions at all levels of the industrial automation stack: from equipment level PLC and HMI programming, through plant-wide SCADA systems, and up to business level MES systems for tracking and reporting OEE, lot production, and scheduling, as well as interacting with recipe and quality systems. These solutions have been executed in multiple regulated and non-regulated industries across several software and hardware platforms. The industries include life sciences, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, wastewater, food and beverage, rolled goods, and automotive. The software and hardware platforms include products from Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Inductive Automation, Wonderware, GE, and Omron.
As a project and people manager, Alex uses traditional and agile approaches to deliver high quality projects to our customers while maintaining NeoMatrix’s core values and putting people first. By finding a way to get our services delivered in a fun and quality-focused way, Alex builds and maintains relationships with our customers and within NeoMatrix, leading to outstanding customer and employee retention rates.
In 2020, Alex took over the role of VP of Operations for NeoMatrix and is now responsible for the company’s service delivery and the leadership and management of the operations team.
